Churchwide Breakfast & Ministry Fair
Join us for a churchwide breakfast to kick off the new school year with food and fellowship! All of our church ministries will also have tables set up to provide information about what each ministry does/offers/provides for the congregation. We hope this information will encourage you to get involved in one or more ministries!
Youth Fall Kickoff
Join us for our fall kick-off pickleball tournament and invite friends!
Semiquincentennial Celebration
Join us to celebrate America’s 250th birthday! We will have one worship service at 10:30am, followed by an indoor picnic lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs and a patriotic concert led by the New Horizons Community Band. Lunch is $5 per person, $15 family max at the door. Please RSVP to the church office for the lunch. Invite friends!!
50+ Lunch Group
The June 50+ Group event will feature Dr. Daniel Shafer, vocalist, and Greg Hankins, pianist. Lunch is provided by Master’s Table of Winder and is $9 at the door. Contact the church office (office@alpsroadpres.org) by Wednesday, June 24 at noon to make a reservation! Reservations are required for the meal.
Fun in the Son High School Conference
For high school students (current 8th - 12th graders)

For nearly 50 years, Fun in the Son has been providing students the opportunity to take one step (or leap) closer to Jesus Christ through keynotes, evening worship, back-home small groups and church-on-church competitions. Competitions between teams fielded by participating churches include ultimate frisbee, soccer, 3-on-3 basketball, sand castle building, and much more. Our students love this conference and we’d love 100% participation. Bring a friend and receive $30 off the registration fee!

Father's Day
Men are invited to wear red, white, and blue on Father’s Day, in honor of America’s 250th birthday this year. Prizes will be awarded for the most classy, creative, and over the top! We also have a special gift for all men during the gathering time (BACON!) and after each worship service.

Nestled in the scenic mountains of Anniston, Alabama, Camp Lee is a retreat center and summer camp where people of all ages come to encounter God, experience nature, and find peace. Camp Lee offers the hospitality, we offer the teachings and experiences! In addition to engaging teaching times, we’ll enjoy the natural rock slide (a.k.a. slock ride), zip lining into the lake, gaga ball, low ropes course and much more. Dr. Cole Phillips, CEO & Medical Director of Mercy Health Center, Athens, will speak at our May for Missions mini breakfast in the Fellowship Hall, as well as share a mission minute in both services.

Dr. Robert Bohler, Jr. Retirement Celebration
Join us on April 19th to celebrate Dr. Robert Bohler, Jr.’s 27 years at Alps Road Presbyterian Church! We will have one combined worship service at 10:30am, followed by a celebration luncheon. RSVPs are required for the catered luncheon. Please RSVP here by March 29.

Prayer Vigil

Children's Easter Egg Hunt
Our children will have their Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday. Dinner with hot dogs, baked beans, chips following. Covenant partners, friends, grandchildren all welcome!
Palm Sunday Services
Join us for Palm Sunday services at 9:00am and 11:00am. The children will process with palms at each service.
50+ Lunch Group
Join us for our monthly lunch ($9 per person) catered by Masters Table of Winder in the Fellowship Hall. Musical entertainment is provided by the UGA Men’s & Women’s Glee clubs in the sanctuary following the lunch. Contact the church office by Wednesday, March 25 at noon to make a reservation.
Children's Musical
Our Children’s Choir will present the musical Fired Up!: The Story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Sanctuary at 6:30 pm. Dinner is available in the Fellowship Hall at 5:45 pm. Reservations are required. Please contact the office to make a reservation.
Wesley Woods Birthday Brunch

Church Work Day
Help us spruce up the building and grounds for Easter! There are jobs for all ages: deep cleaning floors, washing windows, cleaning chandeliers, decluttering classrooms, limb pickup, spreading pine straw, etc. Many hands make light work!
Youth Sunday
Our youth will lead worship in both services today. Plan to be here to support our youth!
iServe Mobile Food Pantry
iServe Mobile Food Pantry will be providing and serving food at Hilsman Middle School (870 Gaines School Rd., Athens). All ages are welcome, so bring the whole family!

The Mix 2026
For all 6th - 12th graders and their friends
Friday, February 20 - Sunday, February 22, 2026
The Mix is a highly anticipated weekend of worship, keynote with hundreds of other teenagers from the Athens area. ARPC students will stay in ARPC host homes with our leaders and participate as a group with the plenary sessions. This is an outreach - we'd love for every ARPC student (6th - 12th grade) to participate and bring friends! $90 after February 1 with check to church (with 3% credit card charge if paid online). *10 discount for SENIORS who register!
Ash Wednesday Service
The first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday, is set aside as a day of repentance and prayer. Join us for the Ash Wednesday service in the sanctuary.

Celebration Sunday & Chili Cook-off
