Waffle House Food Truck
The Waffle House food truck will be here to serve the famous All Star Breakfast after each Christmas Eve service. Serving times are at 6:00pm and 8:00pm. Tickets must be pre-purchased by December 15 and are available for purchase at the Hanging of the Greens service on November 23, in the Gathering area on Sunday mornings through December 14, in the church office during business hours, or online here: Waffle House food tickets. Tickets are $17.50 per plate, $18 online. Please consider family members and guest who will attend Christmas Eve service with you.

We will have a Men's Retreat focusing on “Prioritizing First Things.” Our guest speaker is Andrew Dickinson, Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Douglasville. 50+ Group Trip
Join us for a day trip to Dahlonega to eat at the Smith House Restaurant on October 7, followed by shopping in the downtown area. If you would like to ride the church bus, it is first come, first served. RSVP to the church office (office@alpsroadpres.org) to reserve a bus spot and also so that we can give a final head count to the Smith House for the reservation.

Operation Christmas Child Guest Speaker
Larry Hanby, Area Coordinator for Oconee, Athens-Clarke, Oglethorpe, and Barrow counties, and his wife, who is the Logistics Coordinator for the team, will be with us to talk further about Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Please plan to join us to hear about what happens to a shoebox once it’s dropped off and hear “full circle” stories from those who have received boxes!

Classic City Praise Concert
We look forward to having Dr. Noël Tredinnick with us as we host a Classic City Praise Concert, with Noël conducting choral anthems and playing the organ. Dr. Noël Tredinnick is the Professor of Conducting, Orchestration and Music Studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London, and the Director of Music Emeritus at All Souls Church, Langham Place, London.
For 40 years, both as Director of Jubilate Hymns Ltd/ Resound Worship, and more recently as the Patron of the Song and Hymn Writers' Foundation, he has been at the forefront of the production of new songs for Christian worship. In recognition of his lifetime of service to church music and music education, Noël has been awarded three accolades to date: a Lambeth DMus (2002), a Fellowship of the Royal School of Church Music (2009), and a BEM (British Empire Medal) bestowed on him by Queen Elizabeth Il on her Birthday Honours in June 2021.
The concert is free and open to the community. Please join us and invite friends!

Fun in the Son High School Conference
For high school students (current 8th - 12th graders)

Epworth By the Sea, Saint Simons, GA
This nearly 40 year old beach conference has the goal of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to students and give youth leaders/volunteers a chance to spend quality time with their own church group. We have engaging speakers and bands at two main meetings a day, plus devotional time, and afternoons enjoying the beach, pool or church-against-church competitions.
Cost: $250 (Full cost is $500 per student but ARPC is committed to providing life-changing camp and retreat experiences for their students and is offsetting the cost by half.) $100 due on March 1 with balance due on June 1.
