Opportunities to Serve Locally and Globally

  • St. Mary's Hospital

We partner with St. Mary's in many ways, including collecting and delivering small stuffed animals and books for pediatric patients. We also supply food for the cart that delivers treats to overworked and tired hospital staff.

  • Holston Elementary & Clarke Middle Schools

Both schools need tutors and mentors, both of which must undergo a background check. Additionally, we provide volunteers and food for events like the Academic Carnival (we provide & run the cake walk), Teacher Appreciation events and for milestone testing. At the beginning of the school year, we host a school supply, backpack & uniform drive for students at the school.

  • Wesley Woods Senior Living

In addition to special events like Christmas caroling, or providing trivia or bingo games, we help host the monthly birthday celebration for residents whose birthday is that month. Wesley provides a wonderful brunch and we provide the volunteers to serve and visit with birthday residents.

  • iServe Mobile Food Pantry

iServe Mobile Food Pantry provides and serves food on the 4th Saturday of each month in the Hilsman Middle School parking lot from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Volunteers load boxes of food and spend time talking and praying with the neighbors who come looking for help. All ages are welcome to serve, so bring the whole family! here

  • Sparrow's Nest

The Sparrow's Nest "...exists to save lives." Their goal is to restore people back to their God given purpose and identity in Christ, and minister to those who may have been broken, beaten, abused, and stereotyped by the harshness of the world. Regular volunteer opportunities include participating in the Keep Warm Project, create and deliver hygiene kits and volunteer in a variety of ways onsite. To volunteer at Sparrow's Nest, please contact them at 706-549-6693.

  • Operation Christmas Child

Thanks to your generous giving, in 2024 ARPC sent 460 shoeboxes to share the tangible love of Jesus Christ with children and their families around the world! Our 2025 goal is 500 boxes!

  • Iglesia Presbiteriana, Matanzas, Cuba

We love to visit with our sister church in Cuba! We send teams to Cuba every summer it's safe to do so, and look forward to adding a mid-year trip as well. Groups that travel to Cuba are responsible for raising their own cost through group projects and individual fund raising.
